Short Term Radon Gas

This is a short term test for the presence of Radon Gas (48-72hrs). The EPA has a recommended acceptable level of 4 Pc/L.

 

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is the number one cause of lung cancer among peoplewho do not smoke. With each home inspection we recommend performing a short-term radon test for peace of mind.

Radon Screen Water Test

This is a water test for the presence of radon gas. Radon gas can leach into the water supply through the water supply lines.

​

Radon is a colorless, odorless, and highly carcinogenic gas that can leach into water. The Hudson Valley, NY is designated as "High Potential" for radon.

Basic Water Test

Our basic water bacteria tests your home's water for E. coli and coliform to ensure there is no bacteria contamination in your drinking water. The results are available one day after the sample is received.

Expanded Water Test

This is a water test that includes bacteria, over 20 different metals along with nitrates and 10 other inorganic and physical factors.

Sewer Scope Inspection

This is an inspection of the condition of the sewer lateral line to the municipality. For private septic systems this an inspection of the condition of the sewer line to the septic tank. A separate report is created for this inspection detailing the findings.

Termite & Wood Destroying Insect Inspection

This is an inspection for the presence or previous presence of termites and other wood destroying insects such as powder post beetles, carpenter ants, etc. 

You can add WDI inspection to your home inspection for simultaneous assessment, and and I will advise if an infestation is found.

Mold Assessments

This is an assessment of any mold discovered in the structure. A mold remediation plan will be created to treat the issue. This serves as a clean up guide for a remediation company.
